Hi,
From the 3 options you mention I'd choose a vintage v.72 Carrera in good condition. Mille Migilia dials are too busy for my taste.
As for the specific item on ebay, I wouldn't kill to buy it - if you are patient and lucky you may find a Carrera in better condition for less money. It also depends on how important it is to you that this is an abercrombie n' fitch version.
The only experience I had with this seller was a couple of months ago, when I repeatedly asked him a question about one of his listings without any reply. If you decide to buy, send him an email first.
: O.k. another old heuer carrera is on ebay --
: this time an abercrombie n' fitch version.
: Item#2646016644. Any impressions? I'm
: (still) deciding between a vintage heuer
: carrera (like this one), one of the new
: re-released manual tag heuer carreras, or a
: Chopard Mille Migilia (gasp -- I know this
: is a Heuer forum). Just curious on folks
: thoughts -- especially between a vintage v.
: new heuer carrera.
: Thanks in advance!
