Hello Mark,
as a "Dino", born in 1956, the iPhone to me is still a kind of "Science Fiction".
I still use a 3GS, which is completely sufficient to have OTD "on tour".
It is also my navigation sytem.
I think, people expected too much concerning the 4S. Apple also could have
called it the iPhone 5. As far as I know, the iPhone 4S has much more power
than the iPhone 4. This is correct, so let's see what iOS5 will bring to us (I hope
the 3 GS will not be the last generation for the updates to come.)
Best wishes
Werner Boeinck
: Thanks Werner, I'll have a look at that. I have the Monaco V4 app
: but hadn't looked for any more Heuer ones of late so thanks for
: the pointer.
: And what does the forum think of the new iPhone, the 4S? Lots of
: disappointment online that it's not the iPhone 5 and isn't more
: different from the 4, but I think an upgraded 4 is a good idea.
: I like the design (especially as I can avoid dropping it, so
: don't worry about the glass back and front) and it means I don't
: have a visually out of date phone now! 4 still suits me fine,
: but I'll see what the 5 brings in a year's time - I prefer the
: design of iPad1 to iPad2 so I'm not sure whether I'll prefer 5
: to 4 aesthetically if the tablets are any indication...
