70's carrera, was this a deal?

I love the 70s carreras. I've been lurking here, learning and I have a few questions.

I saw this barrel carrera on the bay and I thought about it, but it went quick

2 The price seemed low, was this a deal?

3 The barrel case looks kinda heavy vs the earlier carrera cases. How is it on the wrist?
