I have received an e-mail message that asks me some interesting questions about our community of vintage Heuer collectors. Before I attempt to provide an answer, I thought that I would post a couple of questions here, to gather some information. Basically, this query asks how many of us there are in this community and about some of our collecting habits. So let me ask our readers the following:- Name (or nickname) and location [or you can tell us that this is private]
- In terms of the Heuers, what is the focus of your collection and approximately how many watches are in your collection? We can use ranges, as follows: Micro-collection -- 5 watches or less; Small collection -- between 6 and 10; Medium -- between 11 and 25; Large -- over 25, less than 50; Very large -- over 50. [again, feel free to tell us that this is private / personal]
- What other brands of watches (or other type of objects) do you collect?
- Do you own any TAG Heuers, and are they "vintage" (older) or modern?
If you are a "lurker" and want to keep it that way, feel free to send me an e-mail message; I will keep you personal information entirely confidential. If you want to "come out", even briefly, that will be interesting as well.
Who knows . . . maybe we will enjoy seeing this data, and conduct the census / survey on a periodic basis!!
