: 1) Name (or nickname) and location
: David Howlett, UK.
: 2) In terms of the Heuers, what is the focus of your
: collection and approximately how many watches are in your
: collection?
: I have a 'just starting' Heuer collection. I've only been collecting for 2 years or so but have gone through a few watches to arrive where I am now; an Autavia Siffert, Monaco 1133b and a Silverstone.
: 3) What other brands of watches (or other type of
: objects) do you collect?
I've got quite a varied collection including a couple of Panerai's, my late grandfathers Longines and my late fathers Sekonda, plus some divers including an Ocean7. I've just started collecting Panerai catalogs too, much to my wifes dismay. I now have every one from 2004 onwards so if anyone has a pre 2004, let me know!
: 4) Do you own any TAG Heuers, and are they
: "vintage" (older) or modern?
I had a TAG Carrera CV2110 but I sold it to a workmate to help fund my first Panerai. Of all the watches that have passed through my hands over the last few years, that's one I wished I could've kept. I wouldn't mind a re-edition Silverstone or a Grey Vintage re-edition Monaco as an everyday wearer but that'll have to wait for now. I want to get a vintage Carrera first.
