I confess I don't know much about pen collecting and have what MB collectors probably find the most boring pen of all (black resin and platinum Classique ballpoint) but I always admired the ones that used real granite from Mont Blanc. Just never saw one in a suitable size - anything bigger than Classique and I find them too "fat" to write with comfortably.

That said, I just Googled and found a 1999 Anniversary version of my pen with rose gold instead of platinum highlights... very nice. But I mustn't start another collection!!
