COLLECTION FOCUS
My interest in Heuer was ignited by my fathers Cal.12 Fume Barrel Carrera which he purchased new around 1976.
I started with the intention to gather one of each of the 70's automatic models, hence my forum name Darren Cal.11/12, but as many from this community have found your tastes vary along the way, pretty much everything from '62-'84 falls into my interests now. My favourites : any Monaco, 1163 Autavia, Silverstone & models with a true racing lineage OR significant historical value. I do tend to lean towards the rare variants.
Where is this journey going - i find myself more and more fascinated by early 2446 Autavia's - there is something special about the Valjoux 72 movement.

OTHER COLLECTIONS
Nothing current.
Years ago it was motorcycles & boy i've had a few, mostly 60's & 70's sports road bikes - Honda, Kawasaki, Ducati, Yamaha.
I've also had a few trail and motocross bikes including an ex-works factory KX250 Kawasaki - unless you've ridden one of these you will never really be able to understand what acceleration means.
But in all fairness i am no longer a rider after having a life changing accident (not my fault) with a car some years back.

TAG WATCHES IN THE COLLECTION
I dont own a modern watch, TAG or otherwise.

THE COLLECTION IS TUCKED AWAY IN A SAFETY VAULT - SERIAL NUMBERS ARE RECORDED AND BACKUP PHOTO'S SAVED ONLINE.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU ALL DO THE SAME !!!!
