I think Porsche is trying to instill the new design language that made its appearance on the 918 Spyder, and the Carrera GT previously
At least that's what I see, not MR2
I actually like the design, along with the 991 I think they are going back to a much cleaner look, more retro but without all the frills and spills
The clean lines are there, as are the little special details that recognize Porsche's design heritage
The one thing that really stands out for me is the side intakes, I think they look great
