Bi-metal = lower price

I wonder how it would of faired had it been the full stainless version.
It may sound harsh but i beleive bi-metal versions of any watch greatly limit the number of potential buyers.

: I watched this one for a while, and then decided to let it go --
: http://www.ebay.com/itm/120841607695 .

: Appeared to be in great condition and on the original bracelet.
: Interesting to see it sell at $1,425. The Jaramas seem to be
: rare, but not especially valued in the Heuer "food
: chain".

: Is the Jarama a "white elephant"? Under-appreciated?
: Under-valued? Poor sibling of the much more common 1153
: Carreras? Any thoughts on these Jaramas or this particular
: auction?
