I'm definitely not keen on the bracelet anyway, but it doesn't look as bad on the Seafarer as it does on the Dato 45. Might be a bit colour-sensitive then, but I think my main objection is that it's a bit chunky and even clunky whereas first generation Carreras are quite sleek and refined.

With GFs making crazy money, I can see why other bracelets would make a good alternative but I'd rather see it on a perforated leather strap even though the original strap is more likely to have been solid. They work quite well on the earliest re-edition straps with the ß marked buckle, it's what I have my Dato 45 on now.
