I think that TAG Heuer has done a great job with this one. To me the red accents are perfect -- highlighting the "80" on the tachy track for Jack Heuer's 80th birthday is nothing short of brilliant. This is a man who has spent his life in the world of motorsports; so this tachymeter track is where the birthday should be marked. What a neat way of saying, "Happy 80th!"
And the red "Heuer" shield is also fitting. Let's not forget, his name is "Heuer" . . . he is the fifth generation in the company that bears the Heuer name.
To use the red accents to wish Jack Heuer a happy 80th birthday is fantastic, at least to my eye and to my mind.
And before I sign off, thanks to David for the great scoop!!
