Having mulled over 'Wabi' in my mind after seeing OTD descriptions of watches for sale (Worn and beaten perhaps but what's the 'i' for?) I googled Wabi and up came this wonderful translation of a multifaceted japanese phrase. How did this apt description come into watch parlance, or is this something used to describe antiques, classic cars, or indeed anything worth appreciating?
