Let me add one quick point: Seller did not see this forum at any time during the transactions. I have confirmed this with him.
So perhaps this forum alerted potential buyers, and perhaps one of these readers interfered with Rob's purchase, but everyone should understand that the seller did not see this forum, and then decide to go for more money / bust Rob's deal.
For what it's worth, seller indicated that he broke the deal with Rob because he was not willing to ship the watch to Canada, due to some sort of PayPal restriction. In the meanwhile, as the messages began pouring in, he became aware that he had left some money on the table, and relisted the watch at a higher price.
