I believe the point is that many members here would simply refuse to deal with a seller like this based on his unethical behavior towards Rob. By giving him more money when you know the facts, even if it is in an open EBAY auction later, don't you actually somewhat encourage this type of behavior and kind of become part of the problem?
You have two different ethical paths you can take: Freeze the guy out because of his tactics and refuse to deal with him, or let your desire to have a certain watch justify doing a business transaction with someone who clearly has questionable morales based on his dealings with Rob.
I personally would not deal with this guy now, no matter what he offered at any price.
Maybe other members would like to answer? Would you have bought this watch from this dealer in a later EBAY auction, given the circumstances? Yes or no?
