If you allow me to give you my opinion about refilling the luminous paste on the hands as part of a restoration, I would say it is completely acceptable.

Probably my analogy is not very accurate, but do you believe that a classic sports car will loose its collect ability by replacing the light bulbs from the headlights? I don’t think so, but this is just my opinion…
