We met a couple of times and I also bought a part from you a year or so ago. My question was driven by an animated conversation I had with fellow enthusiasts about how deep Steve McQueen felt concerned with the Heuer Monaco’s brought by the factory to the set. We know he was a Rolex addict and we can see several pictures of him wearing a Submariner even during the Le Mans movie production. Since I’m supporting the Heuer involvement, we have started pointing how often we see a Heuer watch in the film. A big discussion aroused with the sequence in the intro when Michaël Delaney stops in front of the place where he had his accident the previous year. It looks impossible to define which type of watch he wears (unless you know it for sure ?) but the bracelet looks very similar to the one of H. Kelleners’ Monaco ! So it might help progressing in our discussion.
