Don't know if any of you watch Breaking Bad on AMC, but I happen to think it's the best show on television and one of the greatest dramatic series ever.
In last week's episode, there was an interesting Heuer placement.
Walter White, the protagonist, gets a present from his business partner Jesse, for his 51st Birthday.
A watch. A blue faced Heuer Monaco reissue on a leather band.
Everyone makes a big deal of the gift, and the closing shot of the episode is a close up of the watch, ticking loudly, and stopping at a time that might (or might not) provide a significant clue about the end of the series.
On the discussion boards, the fans kept calling it a Rolex, but I think it was pretty cool that they chose a Heuer.
Not sure why they chose the Heuer, aside from the fact that it's very distinctive looking.
Here are more details and a screen capture.
