Jeff,
There has been four execution of cases for 1163:
- From serial 141000 there is the earliest Chronomatic case, with less pusher integration.
- Around 142000-143000 there is the 'Bullitt' case (because Pier discovered that), similar to the later Schmitz, with differences in the little balls retaining bezel rotation and stepped caseback.
- From around 144000 we have the standard well known Piquerez
- From 270000 (cases marked 1163V) we have the well kown Schmitz
It has been several times matter of discussion...
