I don't know if it is considered bad form to revive an 8 year old thread on a forum, but...

I just found this in my own archive of emails while searching for what you guys at On The Dash helped me find out about my 1966 Heuer Autavia 3646H watch way back when.

I am still looking for someone who can restore this watch to as good a condition as possible. It functions perfectly and is clean, but there are some faded & worn markers on the face as well as some of the reflective material missing from the hands & dial. The family rumor is that it was submerged and leaked water into it many decades ago and was subsequently cleaned & repaired but the cosmetic damage was never fixed.

Any recommendations, contacts, etc. on where to get started with something like this would be appreciated.

: Well, they were within 50 years. The Autavia line simply isn't
: that old. I think they first started shipping them in the early
: 1960's (1962? perhaps one of the other regulars can assist me on

: even though LVMH is much more interested in their current line
