: I've seen what I think was referred to as an economy version of the
: GF MK2 beads of rice bracelet on the forum a couple of times.
: Was this bracelet sold on Heuer watches, and if so which models?
: Is it signed Heuer anywhere?
: Thanks guys
Hi david,
From what I've read on OTD or IVHOC (cant remember where exactly) the so called economy "beads of rice" bracelets were made in Hongkong and were an aletrnate to the GF bracelets. These were used as GF could not produce the quantity required for the Autavia Viceroy promotion. These bracelets were therefore not replacements as they came with the Viceroy autavias. (this is what I actually read). I have posted some images below to highlight the differences between the original GF bracelet and the "eco" version. In my opinion, the Eco are the best alternative to the original GF bracelets.
