So Mark - did the 248 variant have a different cal designation for the date wheel addition (ie: like the 189 that was based on the 149)? Just curious. Not all of the Landeron 4x or 5x variants are listed in the old Bestfit catalog.
: No, this Carrera was a poster child for the 189. But given the 189
: (and 248) was a development of the long-lived 48, it's not all
: that surprising that there are a lot of mechanical similarities.
: A large number of parts are interchangeable, obviously apart
