I am still in to motorsport when I have the time and opportunity but have not been to a Formula 1 race since Silverstone 1973. But I saw the race at Silverstone today and it was quite exciting.

In two weeks I will go to Goodwood Festival of Speed with a friend. Hope to meet some Heuer collectors there - I have to post and ask who else will be there.

The result in 1973 was:
1 - Peter Revson - McLaren
2 - Ronnie Peterson - Lotus (Scandinavian race hero and well known Heuer wearer)
3 - Denny Hulme - McLaren

Italian Andrea de Adamich, Brabham, was injured in the first lap accident and never raced again.
