The more I look at this the less I like it.
I'm not really a Heuer "purist" but calling this thing a Carrera even bothers me.
After studying it some more I think it looks like a cross between the Speedy Date and an Eberhard Chieftan. But not as nice as either.
Finally I would guess that originality more than imitation worries the folks at Omega. Nearly everyone uses a val.7750 but the bezel and bracelet are obviously Speedy "knock-offs".
Again, just one man's opinion.
