: 980.006 and the 980.006L.
: 980.006 use ESA 536.121, this movement is thicker than the one used
: in a 980.006L.
: 980.006L (and all with a L) use a ESA 963.114

: Search Ebay and you will somtimes find NOS cheap generic watches
: with this movement.
: A ETA 2824 automatic will only fit a non L case.

Good spot Jarl, yes you are right, i was only referring to the ESA 536.121, did'nt pay much attention to the 'L'.
I'd need to check Jarl but i'm sure the ESA 963.114 cannot be replaced with an ETA 955.112 either though again due to stem alignment issues.
