Like so many, I'm a long time occasional visitor here, as I've been looking for a suitable classic Heuer for a while now. Well, I finally picked up this one - from what I understand it's a 1964, serial #548xx. It was serviced fairly recently, the case has been refinished and at some point had a new crystal. As far as I know the dial & hands are original.

I'd welcome any thoughts on this watch, and in particular what kind of strap you think would work best - it came with a new perforated brown leather strap which I'm not too keen on, so have temporarily put it on a old black calfskin strap with a Heuer tang buckle.
