Sadly, your doubts are well-founded. There is nothing Heuer about that chronograph. It is a genuine fake.
$990.00 is no small change. So, unless you really like it, do yourself a favor and get in touch with the seller and let them know that you've learned that the watch is a fake Heuer. After all, selling fake, replica, copy or counterfeit items is against eBay rules. I would get in touch with eBay, too.
