Very interesting!!
So three months ago (September 2014), the seller listed the watch, with a Swiss auction house, with a minimum price / opening bid of 55,000 CHF. The link to this auction is shown below.
And yesterday it was sold by another Swiss auction house, with a hammer price was 28,000 CHF. Indeed, back in September, the experts here suggested that the 55,000 CHF was way too high. Yesterday, we saw the proof.
I will still wonder the price that might have been achieved by Christie's or Bonhams (or perhaps eBay).
