Hi Jeff,
I agree BUT, the dial is original (the back of the dial is the same as the oval) but quite a bit smaller than the one in the oval shaped case. Also, as I recall, the oval shaped case movement is not signed Heuer Leonidas. These movements are signed. The hands are the same as the oval cased but shorter to accomodate the smaller case. So, I would deduce that the case would be made for the dial. Why would Heuer make the movement and dial to fit a case they didn't supply? It's a mystery! These pics may provide further proof of the originality of the pieces. Well, I either bought a box of really great stuff or a box of sh*t! Win some lose some I guess!
