Jeff - im with you on this as I have raised the question before but didn't get that many comments.

For me I cant see any issue in posting a serial No apart from the fact that some watches have had it polished out making it rather tricky.

Assuming there is a higher value to a watch with a serial No then those that have had it polished out would be more obvious to us.
