More research is in order, but Koni is a well-known manufacturer and seller of shock absorbers and suspension parts . . . . Koni was definitely a name in racing, circa 1980.

: referred to. My Finnish relations tell me it means
: "machine" and that their lift manufacturer is called
: Koni but my suspicion’s are that its related to a US based car
: parts manufacturer, mainly exhausts. It was and is an entry
: level piece and a good stating point.
