Really cool info. Besides for the watches themselves being of great quality and design, the fact is that these were REAL racers watches. So many links manufacturers have today with racing are just marketing efforts without real organic roots. But the fact the vintage Heuers were sold through race suppliers along with Bell helmets, Simpson shoes, Holley carbs, etc. has that realness which has been lost with time.

Notice the tax rate in Pasadena was only 5%. It's almost double that now!
