As an aside -- while the "Wings and Wheels" is a very special logo, with fantastic history and imagery, personally, I do not ascribe huge value to these Carreras. They were sold in the gift shop; not on the wrists of racers, navigators or crew . . . Yes, they are nice watches, but when I'm at the track, the souvenir shop is always lower priority than the paddock and pits!!
And a lot of the logo watches that we see going around today were a stack of dials 15 years ago . . . nice dials, but I prefer the watches / dials assembled by Heuer.
