Yes there has been a flurry of private messaging amongst some of us collcrors for the last few hours.
I dont know of anyone that has had contact directly with the seller but somebody noted the seller has a history of selling watches at the €10-50 range. You can guess he could not have been prepared for the level of communication - offers of buy-it-now & further technical questions relating to the watch.
As much as he must be grinning at the current price & the offers that no doubt have come in, i bet he's reading up trying to do his homework after the facts.
For my own peace of mind if i were to be bidding ( i am not ) i would like to know the case serial number, see a picture of the inside of the caseback to see if it has the HF mark & see the bridge for the Ed.Heuer marking & it should also have a movement number.
Even with these nagging points in the back of mind i might add i dont recall ever seeing a full lume hand 1st execution 2446 in an open auction format - this is indeed going to get interesting !!!!!
