Not that it really matters, but it does look like the seller knew it was much more valuable than his other watches as the starting price of the auction was 1500 euros. My guess though, is that they didn't know the had a very early and rare iteration of the Autavia, and that the price it has reached now must be a very big (but very pleasant) surprise. I think is they really had known they would have included the ref. number, serial number, movement shots, etc, as pointed out already.
