Not the only show in town.

In other exciting developments, my trusty 1967 Seiko Sportsmatic has reached the heady heights of £75 with 4 days left, in a tense battle involving a bidder and, well, no-one else at the moment actually. But I'm optimistic. Not sure what I'd do if I suddenly found myself with an unexpected £20k or so. Currently I'm thinking four 1133G's, or a slightly rough at the edges Jensen Interceptor or Jag XJS (the V12 obviously).

Now that the initial skirmishes have been fought I take it we're now in the usual long pause until the last couple of hours? And does the state of the bezel hold this one back at all, or at this elevated level would these guys have access to a better item? Or does it simply not matter with something this rare? Just curious but I'd be grateful for more insight on how things work at this elevated level of the market...
