Yes, as i understand it, its'a knock-out. The best of each pair gets into the next round, so the winners of pair 1 and pair 2 in round 1 will be pair 1 in round 2...
An therefore a 'phantasy' model will be among the last four, and i personally asssume this will be the model TAG will produce. Why? Because i think they don't want to produce a one-to-one copy of a vintage model.
