A story to brighten your day. Pictured is a Heuer Skipper 15640 against a photo of E Scows racing that I got from Google images. The neat thing about this picture, is that a sailor (and fellow watch collector) reached-out to me after I originally posted. Turns out that he also lives in the same state as I do, and that sail number I-49 (in the picture) is the gentleman who won the "Rolex Yachtsman of the Year" two years ago. He also mentioned that he was on I-49 and was probably out of frame in this photo! I had no idea, I just really liked the shot as a amateur sailor myself. Our little watch collecting community is a very small place, with many different ties that bring us together. Please know that our community is behind you, sending positive thoughts and keeping you in our prayers. I wish you the strength to beat your illness, and a very speedy recovery!
