Thanks for taking the time to write such a thoughtful reply. I will consider these factors before I make any decision. It does make me a bit nervous that a previous buyer may have returned this, but if the seller claims it runs and was checked by a watchmaker, ebay should have my back. Not too worried about the sub-dial hands. As for the case, if it was pristine and i dinged it i would feel like a moron! Will post back if I decide to spring for it.
