This was listed at £400-£600 & as you will see its in pretty shabby condition.
I knew it would go for more than that but it just sold for £19,000!!
Serial No for those interested:
HEUER - a gentleman's Skipper chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case. Reference 7753, serial 107241. Signed manual wind movement. Discoloured blue dial with baton hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three and nine. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with nickel plated pin buckle. 36mm.
Movement is currently functioning. The chronograph counts one minute, but further timing has not been tested due to time constraints.
Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
Dial appears to be in a poor condition with very large areas of discolouration/damage to the paint. The calibrated rehaut is also discoloured. Some of the paint is cracking on the sub dials.
Hands show marks and tarnishing.
Glass has scratches and marks.
Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
Crown has scratches and marks with wear to the plating. Like most watches of this age, it may be a replacement crown.
Strap shows marks and creasing.
Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
This lot does not come with box or papers.
