First they discuss the "Paul Newman" Daytonas . . . and then this old Skipper.
"Lot 160 shocked and amazed staff and auction attendees alike. Valued at a mere £400-600, this Skipper watch, Reference 7753, from Heuer was not in the best condition. Despite, or perhaps because of, its discoloured dial, this watch was the subject of a bidding war online, in the room and over several phone lines. The Skipper ultimately sold for £19,000."

: of you were watching. Damaged dial but still went for £19,000
: (before premium). Estimate was hilariously low at 400-800 but
: still. Thoughts?
