I'll vote for Heuer, in the visual / design category . . . Autavia, Carrera, Daytona, Cortina, Monaco, etc. top the range of Zeniths, to my eye.
Most would favor the El Primero in the movement category, but I have actually had better luck with the Cal 12's. My experience base may be a bit skewed -- numerous Heuers with no problems at all; one Zenith that spent its first two years with watchmakers, very little time on my wrist.
Thanks for the comparison photos.

I know that it's a long-running debate (approx. 36 years), but which is your winner?
: Sorry I'm late!!
: 70's Autavia Viceroy cal.12 & a 1969 Zenith
