Yes, I heard that personally and remember it too.
And right he was! Apart from all those excellent earlier models, from Carreras, Autavias, Monacos, etc., we should remember and consider that our dear Mister Heuer also had a particular interest in "cutting edge" and avantgarde, in development, engineering and technique....no doubt.

And by the way....I like many of those models too, agree with your words towards Jan, and actually sold him one of those of the exposed ;-)
