Hi Steve!
I saw on chronotrader Camaro for sell, and owner in post wrote "Early serial: 132XXX", and I start to think about this... Is it really early? In my I have 117XXX.
Then I started to think about serial numers in every Heuer watch. They must to used some system. System could be changed with time, but should to be same for almost every Heuer model. Maybe somebody discovered this system, maybe someone ask Jack how it was?
: Hi Padre, as I've been present on here all day today(!)....the
: serial number question is quite broad so are you asking about
: ALL known Heuer serial numbers? It was not changed by year
: directly but by allocated 'batch' numbers so while you can gain
: an idea on age by the model and serial, it is not entirely year
: specific.
: My main reason for reply is because I can answer your additional
: question-the lowest Camaro serials I have recorded are 974xx and
: 975xx. If you have a specific piece in mind you are querying
: though, I'm always happy to receive the details and look into it
: for you, in the wider scheme....
: Many thanks,
: Steve
