It looks like it works for basic posting. As Jeff mentioned, sounds like there could be some limitations for some users based on restrictions. I was able to see your pic Steve, and posted the above test pic from the account I just set-up.

Hopefully the tech guru's can find a solid long term solution that either offers some type of pic hosting or automatically downloads images from places like PB when they are directly linked so copies don't get blocked in the future.
