New arrival, and it really makes the Geiger counter sing, with lots of radium on the dial and hands.
Heuer Reference 2447, "Radium" version (per the catalog), with Arabic numerals on the silver dial. Companion model had the black dial, with gilt accents. This one gets all the points for originality . . . a true tool watch, with the radium burns on the dial to prove it.
The Reference 2447 was introduced in the early 1940s, but the serial number probably puts this one in the 1950s.
Anyone else wearing anything interesting today?
