Huge congrats, Steve !!
ENJOY !!!
Werner
: I’m just too excited to wait until Friday to post this. My new
: Carrera 2447s, something for which I’ve been longing for a
: time now. An untampered, all original, honest piece-serial
: 68xxx.
:
: As with many of these watches it has a story and a history.
: Briefly, it was inherited from the first-owner uncle, then the
: seller tells me
: ‘….the watch has been trekking around the Annapurna Circuit in
: Nepal, up the highest mountain in South America (where it was
: rescued by helicopter!), and has even done a bungee jump. If it
: could speak it could tell a few good stories, I can assure you
: of that Steve!’.
: It was subsequently lost for some years and then re-found in an old
: soup can where it has been ‘hidden away for safe-keeping’.
: What a life. I can’t wait to make many more adventures with my
: new chum.
: Thanks for reading.
: Steve
