: Easy mistake to make and let’s hope the seller accepts returns.
: If not I’m sure you can flip them and get most of your money
: back :)
Unfortunately the seller is dishonest and keeps changing his story. He now claims the crystal "was removed from his Rindt". This is simply impossible as its 32.1mm, and wont fit any 60's Carrera or Autavia. So he flat out lied on this one.
The hands are hardly worth even close to what I paid...First, they are not NOS...not even close. And are clearly not correct for a Rindt. When I questioned him about the hands, he again changed his story and responded:
"I offer only parts that I‘m sure they are mounted on a watch , Heuer used not always for 1 reference the same parts and if you search google under Heuer Autavia Rindt you will notice how many different hands are mounted for the Rindt , those parts that you bought from me was mounted on my Rindt that I serviced on tag Heuer and received the old parts ."
Clearly he doesnt understand what "New Old Stock" means.
I plan on keeping this set on display as a reminder to only deal with honest sellers. An expensive lesson for sure.
