Do you guys know about "service" Heuer Carrera 2447 cases ?

Hi guys,

Pretty straightforward question here: do you guys know about "service" Heuer Carrera 2447 cases ?
I'm looking at a nice 2447 that does not have a visible case ref number or serial number. Otherwise, the case looks nice, the lugs have a nice thickness and are symetrical.

I'm thrown off by this, and as much as I've looked online, I've found no information. Do you guys have an idea if Tag still makes cases for 2447's/3647's etc., did they make some back in the day, or maybe the numbers were just polished out ?

If this is not a known topic of discussion, I'll get deeper into research & discuss with the current owner if he wants to upload pictures etc.
