Why do they insist on degrading or exploiting their model lines? They did the same thing with the Carrera. Can they not come up with another model line for things like this?
I suppose if all you are doing is appealing to vanity then I see the point but to those buyers I would expect a largely (until recently and only in the case of the autavia) defunct model line which wouldn’t really resonate with current consumers.
If you want to love more units take a page out of Porsche’s handbook. Want a pedestrian consumable for the masses that can’t or won’t buy a more expensive and less than practical 911? Build a Macan, not a 911-Gran Coupe xDrive blah blah blah. So in summation, don’t cheapen the Autavia, make something new like a...I don’t know...let’s call it a Heuer Grand Prix or some other random motorsport name.
Just a suggestion versus offering an overpriced Selitta copied ETA 2824-2 🙄 fashion watch for those that don’t even know the origin of the word. I guess it’s nice that it doesn’t have a skeleton dial.
