Please please no don't touch the 844/1000 Series line... obviously not by any means Autavia etc, but let's not get crazy here and start to destroy heritage lines at random for the sake of rebranding
: Here are some quick reactions, as posted on the IVHOC Facebook
: group -- Lucian Sulica -- Zenith tried doing a three hand
: Primero a couple of years back. It was a miserable failure, for
: all the same reasons this one is going to me. John Cote -- I
: have to agree completely with what Lou said. Kostadis
: Paschalidis -- Horrible! Thomas Lubbock -- It's a no from me
: Kovacs Peter -- Sorry to say, but all the new Autavia line is a
: no from me. Vintage rocks, end of story. Fred S. Mandelbaum --
: well, compared to the Hublorrera it is lovely? Jacx Sattar --
: Its a "NO" for me. They just totally ruined AUTAVIA
: identity Darren St -- I would say not a bad watch, just a poor
: selection of name for it. Bristnj Jeff -- Why not re-launch as
: the 844. Would make a lot more sense and maintain
: differentiation between the sub-brands. Frédéric Beck --
: Non-sense for an Autavia anyway... Aesthetically, proportions
: are great but the hands are too thin. Wayne Puckett -- Poor
: attempt in my opinion... But really, a time only Autavia?? Not
: in its DNA whatsoever! Jean-Jacques Von Erlach -- No go Dok
: Feelgood -- for "Auto Aviation" one normaly needs a
: Chrono Dale Vito -- I saw this in a few variations at Basel. Per
: Trygve Eitrem -- I find the “re-editions” pathetic Colin
: Butcher -- Truly ghastly. Lots if heritage to use -- 844; 1000.
: WHY ????? I will try to post my own reactions, a bit later.
: Jeff
